Year End Party is fast approaching, it’s on Saturday Nov. 7th and the registration deadline is Wed. Nov. 4th at midnight.
The Venue has moved to a more central location; Park Road Park, 6220 Park Rd, Charlotte, NC shelter #3, which is by the trailhead kiosk. Participants can ride BYT and Park Road Park trails.
Same great food as last year, “Chiliman” (if you frequent uptown you know who he is) will be serving up gourmet street tacos.
Challenging games (log pull, Huffy toss, trike races), including a new game to be revealed the day of the event as well as separately the Men and Ladies Champion Sash is up for grabs for the Derby!

Great Raffle Prizes donated by Dirt Diva Sponsored Shops, Raffle tickets will be for sale upon arrival and during the meal. 100% goes to Dirt Divas’ Project Angel, where we donated 3 bikes, helmets, pump and more to Alexander Youth Network in December 2014.

We have 2 annual weekend Diva trips each Spring and Fall to scenic mountain trails. What better way to spend a women’s getaway weekend than with great riding, hiking, card games, campfire fun and more?

Spring Trip 2014:
The spring trip is coming soon. You will not want to miss. For this is the first time that we have offered a weekend trip to the ever-popular Kerr Scott Reservoir. The Kerr Scott network of trails offer an abundant of very smooth flowing trails as well as technical climbs, rocky switchback areas and short punchy climbs, all guarantee a smile on your face.
We will be departing on Friday May 2nd and returning on Sunday May 4th.
The 2014 Spring Trip cost is $150.00 until midnight on March 31 and $160.00 beginning April 1 and will include lodging in a very plush 8 bedrooms 8 bath home called the NC Wilderness Lodge, which is just a couple miles from the trailhead. This great home has a Hot Tub! Also included: 5 meals, transportation of you and your bike and 2 days of riding. The registration for the house is on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis (maximum occupancy of 20 people), so please do not delay in registering for this unique trip.
Renew your membership and sign up for the spring trip before April 1 and receive a $10 discount. You must be a current Dirt Divas member in good standing to attend the Spring and/or Fall Trips. 3) Saturday Only Day Trip with Meals: $55 (includes 3 meals)

Departing Friday evening, October 4th, and returning Sunday evening, October 6th. You must be a current Dirt Diva member.
Total cost = $110, which includes lunch both days catered by Pasta and Provisions, amazing breakfasts and dinners provided by Camp Green Cove, lodging, transportation for your bike/gear and yourself if desired, and guided mountain bike rides by skill level (beginner/casual, intermediate, advanced intermediate, and expert).
We will be staying at Camp Green Cove, situated on Lake Summit. The camp features beautiful grounds with a relaxing deck, hiking/biking trails, waterfalls and a fire pit for Saturday night! The lodging features 6-12 bunks per cabin; bathrooms with showers are inside.We will be riding trails in Pisgah National Forest and DuPont.The 10,400 acre Dupont State Forest (DSF) offers mountain bikers nearly 100 miles of varied trails. While some of the trails here are typical for the region, a few others provide an experience not commonly found in the southern Appalachians: slickrock!The Pisgah National Forest is a land of mile-high peaks, cascading waterfalls, and heavily forested slopes. Comprised of over 500,000 acres, the Pisgah is primarily a hardwood forest with whitewater rivers, waterfalls and hundreds of miles of trails.
Day Trip Fee:
If you are not able to stay for the entire weekend, you have additional options. To come up for the day, ride, and lunch it will be $25. Other options are available. Please email [email protected].
Trip Refund policy:
If you notify the Event Planner within: 1)Eight Days or more before the trip (the Friday of the trip): 100% refund 2) 4-7 days before the trip: 50% refund 3) 0-3 days: No refund. Transfer to another individual (found by individual) permitted.

Trips for Kids Charlotte will resume Saturday bike rides Feb. 2 with low-income kids and their adult volunteer “buddies” at Col. Francis Beatty Park near Piper Glen.
The group also hopes to include additional regular rides in 2013 at the U.S. National Whitewater Center, says one official.
