Fall Trip 2015: Tsali October 2 -4
The Dirt Divas Annual Fall Trip takes place October 2-4. By popular demand, we will be going to Tsali in Western North Carolina.
We are offering two options for lodging this weekend:
Enjoy a little luxury while on your fall trip. The cabins are fully furnished with a kitchen, bathroom and living area including a TV and Wifi. The bedrooms have everything you need, so no need to bring your sleeping bag. Bring your bike and clothes and be ready for a good ride and a little relaxation! Due to the high demand for the cabins at the NOC during this time of year, we need close registration on this option earlier than the bunkhouse option. Please register early so we can accommodate everyone who is interested in this option.
Registration for the Luxury Cabin option closes September 2nd.
While the cabins are very nice, the bunkhouses are pretty good too! Please expect to bring a sleeping bag or linens and towels for showering. There is an available community bathroom and kitchen near the bunkhouses for us to use.
Registration for the Bunkhouse option closes September 27th.
If you would like to know more about the differences in lodging or have any questions please feel free to contact us or you can also check out the NOC’s website at www.noc.com.

Spring Trip 2015:
We will be staying at Camp Green Cove, situated on Lake Summit. The camp features beautiful grounds with a relaxing deck, hiking/biking trails, waterfalls and a fire pit for Saturday night! The lodging features 6-12 bunks per cabin; bathrooms with showers are inside. We will be riding trails in Pisgah National Forest and DuPont. The 10,400 acre Dupont State Forest (DSF) offers mountain bikers nearly 100 miles of varied trails. While some of the trails here are typical for the region, a few others provide an experience not commonly found in the southern Appalachians: slickrock! The Pisgah National Forest is a land of mile-high peaks, cascading waterfalls, and heavily forested slopes. Comprised of over 500,000 acres, the Pisgah is primarily a hardwood forest with whitewater rivers, waterfalls and hundreds of miles of trails.
We will be departing on Friday April 24th and returning on Sunday April 26th.
One day of riding will be in the beautiful Dupont State Park while the second day we will ride in Pisgah Forest on the Trace Ridge trails:
Trace Ridge features gentle, undulating climbing on Never Ending & Reservoir roads, combined with super fun, fast flowy single track downhills of Lower Spencer & Fletcher Creek. Additional options include gentle, singletrack climbing on Middle Fork and a moderate gravel climb to a fun, full Bear Branch singletrack downhill. Trace Ridge is in an area close to Bent Creek, on the other side of the ridge. If you like Bent Creek, dare we say these routes have gentler climbing, even more suitable for spring fitness levels.
