achieve fitness goals, develop better technical skills and enjoy good
competition amongst your fellow Dirt Diva members. Any Dirt Diva member
can be on the race team. Just show up and race and you are on the team!
Dirt Diva Race Team members can race in three types of events to be counted
towards accumulating points. Where will you wind up at the end of the
season?
How does the Dirt Diva Race Team Work?
Categories
There will be four categories:
• Beginner
Could be a first or second season racer who races beginner class in the
Charlotte races and does not generally hold an annual NORBA license.
• Sport
A more experienced racer whose fitness level allows them to race longer.
This person races Sport Class in the Charlotte races or may race beginner
in NORBA-sanctioned races.
• Super Sport
An experienced racer who races in the “Super Sport” class
in the Charlotte races and races Sport or Expert in NORBA-sanctioned races.
• Pro
An Expert or Pro-level NORBA racer who normally rides in the men’s
categories for Charlotte races.
Generally, your Dirt Diva race
category is determined by the class you race in the local series races.
Prizes will be collected from
sponsors and will be given to top category finishers at end of season.
You must compete in at least
4 races to be awarded a prize but all Dirt Diva Race Team members receive
a giveaway at the end of the season.
Point System
Points are awarded by what place you finish amongst all competitors and
not just Dirt Diva member competitors. Points can be obtained by participating
in these types of races.
